We Will Never Give Up! Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita

Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita is a Leader of Vision, Conviction, and Unyielding Passion From ancestral legacy to global advocacy, his leadership continues to shape the struggle for justice and freedom in Southern Cameroons.

As President and CEO of Friends of Ambazonia Inc., he speaks with clarity and conviction on the future of Southern Cameroons.

Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita was born and raised in Nkwen, Bamenda — the bastion of justice in Cameroon. He is the first grandson of the late Stephen Ngu Tita, popularly known as S. N. Tita, the renowned Southern Cameroonian author and publisher of History, Geography, and Rural Science books. Many indigenous Southern Cameroonians vividly remember NOOREMAC Press, which S. N. Tita owned in downtown Victoria. Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita is also the first great-grandson of the late Pa Simon Ndeso, the first catechist at Bayelle Catholic Church in Nkwen, Bamenda. He is one of the aboriginal Southern Cameroonians.

A graduate of the Cameroon College of Arts Science and Technology (CCAST), Bambili, he later earned a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2015.

Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita: Instilling hope

Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita is a man of many titles — and even more convictions. A respected pharmacist, real estate broker, and business owner, he is also a passionate political advocate whose work spans continents.

A proud conservative and staunch supporter of President Donald J. Trump, Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita is a familiar voice in Florida’s Republican circles. He volunteered during Governor Ron DeSantis’ re-election campaign, underscoring his deep commitment to the ideals of limited government, free markets, and personal responsibility.

Leading with Vision and Passion

Beyond American politics, Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita is a tireless champion for the people of Southern Cameroons, also known as Ambazonia. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Friends of Ambazonia Inc, an advocacy Southern Cameroonian movement, he has worked relentlessly to spotlight the Southern Cameroons Crisis — an ongoing conflict marked by displacement, violence, and cultural suppression.

Reflecting on what drives his lifelong commitment, Dr. Emmanuel Tita explains: “I know what my ancestors and grand parents stood for. It’s within our family integrity to fight for the freedom of Southern Cameroons.”

His story, shaped by heritage and conviction, stands as a powerful testament to dedication, faith, and fearless advocacy. Speaking on the broader meaning of the liberation struggle, he adds:

Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita: On duty to free his people

“The people of Southern Cameroons have endured decades of colonization, marginalization and military aggression. Our freedom reflects the same foundational values that have built great countries across the world. It is time for the pain of the people of Southern Cameroons to be ended,” he says.

We will Never Give Up

At a time when many feel exhausted and discouraged, Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita’s spirit to fight on remains ignited. He vows never to give up until the complete freedom of his people is achieved. In one of his most passionate appeals, he declares:

“The fight is a legitimate fight, and the colonial military of the Republic of Cameroun is still killing our people daily. We cannot give up. Giving up is like surrendering to the colonial regime of the Republic of Cameroun and the consequences of giving up are treacherous. That means our people, the people of the Former British Southern Cameroons, the people of Ambazonia, will live as conquered people. That means all their inheritance, all their culture, all their land, all their resources, etc. etc. will no longer be theirs. I see myself as a major player that’s needed in making sure that this struggle succeeds. That’s some of the reasons as to why I have not given up and we will and should never give up. I am personally very passionate about the struggle succeeding,” he adds.

Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita: Emerging leadership

Despite the weight of the struggle, Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita remains hopeful. Speaking on the work of Friends of Ambazonia Inc., he shares a message of renewed optimism:

“There’s hope!. We at Friends of Ambazonia Inc. have ‘discovered the missing piece in the puzzle’ and we are actively pursuing that direction right now as far as advocacy and diplomacy is concerned. I would like to personally encourage every Southern Cameroonian at Home and Abroad to look for a way to get involved actively and let us finish this fight for justice and independence for our people. The people of the Former British Southern Cameroons also known as the people of Ambazonia deserve the right to be free or live as an independent country.”

To the Republic of Cameroon Regime

Directing his words to the authorities in Yaoundé, Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita issues a firm call for justice, accountability and the freedom of Ambazonia:

“The colonial military of the Republic of Cameroun must stop the killing of the innocent people of the former British Southern Cameroons/ Ambazonia. They must release all Southern Cameroonians that have been abducted, arrested and detained and compensate them for their time in prison. Reparations must be paid. Their colonial military and administrators must all be withdrawn from Ambazonia. This is a fight for justice and freedom, a fight they will never win. And our generation is poised to take the fight to a logical end…until we reach Buea.”

Having lived in the United States for over 22 years, Dr. Emmanuel Nji Tita says his experience of freedom and independence has only strengthened his resolve. Reflecting on what Ambazonia stands to gain, he concludes:

“I have lived in America for over 22 years. I have seen and lived what it means for a country to be independent and given our natural resources and strategic location in the Gulf of Guinea that God has blessed us with, I know what the people of AMBAZONIA stands to benefit as an independent country and that’s one of the reasons why I am not giving up.”
